The aim of therapeutic exercises is to promote weight bearing on the affected limb, increase balance and proprioception as well as strength and endurance.
An exercise may be as simple as doing passive-range-of-motion (PROM) to improve or maintain a joint’s flexibility, to specific active therapy exercises.
A variety of tools (Physioballs, wobble board, etc) and exercises is available and will be customized to your dog’s condition to improve his overall recovery from the specific injury.
Home exercises will also be shows as these are beneficial to speed up the recovery in between sessions.
